How about a flag for the thousands abused by priests

The completely invented version of fundamentalist evangelical Chris- tianity that has seized control of the Republican Party in the United States with their attacks on women’s reproductive rights and also at- tacking the LGBTQ+ community is now demanding no separation be- tween church and state to turn the U.S. into their version of a Christian theocracy.

Like the Taliban, their main goal has always been power and control.

With every Republican candidate, including Donald Trump, now catering to their every whim, they have mostly succeeded. They have leaked across the border.

Toronto Catholic Trustee Michael Del Grande successfully banned the LGBTQ rainbow flag and now wants to fly a pro-life flag outside all Catholic schools during the month of May.

It is interesting that Del Grande has never said a word about decades of sexual child abuse by Catholic priests.

His position that banning the rainbow flag was to protect children from indoctrination is complete nonsense.

Perhaps the trustees should put forth a motion to fly a flag to remember the thousands of children, including many Aboriginal children, abused by priests, to help make sure this abuse never happens again.
