FAJARDO, PHILPOT SCOOP AWARDS

Alouettes quarterback Cody Fajardo was named the Grey Cup’s most valuable player after throwing for three touchdowns and 290 yards in Sunday night’s 28-24 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Hamilton. Tyson Philpot of Delta, B.C., who caught the winning touchdown pass, was the game’s top Canadian. He finished with six catches for 63 yards.
