CORRECTION

Canadian prime minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau opened the Toronto Peace Garden at Nathan Phillips Square in 1984. A Nov. 26 opinion column mistakenly said Lester B. Pearson opened the park. As well, Trudeau was the prime minister in 1978, not Pearson.
