Torontonians pay plenty in municipal taxes

Toronto is vastly under-taxed, and it’s time for that to change, May 29

Some are making it sound as though Toronto taxes have remained the same for years. Plus, comparing the taxes for Toronto against what Mississauga pays is a poor comparison.

Toronto has over three times the population of Mississauga, so of course the more population you have the more tax dollars will go into the city coffers.

Toronto taxes will always increase, but it needs to be a fair adjustment for homeowners. Jane White, Scarborough
