Giving Tuesday brings out people’s generosity. Here are some of the creative and inspiring acts of giving that took place on #GivingTuesdayCA 2021:

• 24 turkeys donated for families in need in Edmonton

• 800 ducks sponsored for wetland conservation (#giveaduck)

• 30,600 Covid kits assembled by volunteers in Nova Scotia for distribution through libraries, MLA offices, elementary schools and the airport

• 600 pounds of food donated to help the needy in Sault St. Marie • 464 Scouts participated in acts of kindness from helping a neighbour to mowing a lawn

• 51 puppies and dogs rescued in Collingwood

• Seven new prosthetic hands provided for amputees in need, Victoria

• 3,000 stockings stuffed for recipients in the Kitchener-Waterloo area
