Ban vehicles from public demonstrations

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had to do something to deflate the situation by invoking the Emergencies Act. But the solution to this brouhaha was simple: Pass a law whereby vehicles are banned at such demonstrations.

If the truckers and supporters wanted to demonstrate by all means go ahead — parade in front of the Parliament buildings.

But if there were a law enacted prohibiting vehicles, they could not have demonstrated as long as they did in the cold weather. Jane Rodman, Mississauga
