Pro Bowl gets makeover
The NFL is replacing the Pro Bowl, which debuted in 1951, with weeklong skills competitions and a flag football game. The event will be renamed The Pro Bowl Games and feature AFC and NFC players showcasing football and non-football skills in challenges over several days. Fan voting will still help determine the rosters. The NFL has invested in flag football in recent years and helped the sport push for inclusion in the 2028 Olympics.
