Miami haven as storm nears

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will relocate football operations to the Miami area to practise for next weekend’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs, ahead of the potential impact of Hurricane Ian on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Sunday night’s game at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium hadn’t been affected as of Monday night. The NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning, meanwhile, postponed two pre-season home dates: Wednesday vs. Carolina and Thursday vs. Nashville.
