Mbappé will stick with PSG
Before Saturday’s final home game against Metz, star forward Kylian Mbappé celebrated with fans at Parc des Princes after signing a new three-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain, turning down the latest offer from Real Madrid — reported worth $211 million (U.S.). The Spanish club, which had been chasing Mbappé for more than a year, planned to lodge a complaint with soccer’s governing body, claiming the deal is a blow to the sport’s economic stability in Europe because PSG is heavily in debt. Mbappé’s old deal was set to expire in June.
