John Lennon’s son Julian Lennon said the new threepart Beatles documentary “Get Back” that arrived Thursday on Disney Plus “made me love my father again.” “What an Amazing night,” he posted on Instagram, adding that he was proud, inspired and feeling more love for his family “than ever before.”

Dave Hickey, a prominent American art critic whose essays covered topics ranging from Siegfried & Roy to Norman Rockwell, died at age 82 on Nov. 12 at home in New Mexico. His books, including “The Invisible Dragon: Essays on Beauty” (1993) and “Air Guitar: Essays on Art & Democracy” (1997), won him legions of fans beyond the art world experts.

“Saved by the Bell” character Screech Powers and Dustin Diamond, the late actor who played him, got an on-screen send-off at the fictional hangout The Max as the rebooted series’ second series launched this week. “The whole thing is obviously sad, and it was imperative that we treat it in a delicate manner … I hope that fans really love it,” actor Elizabeth Berkley said, referring to how the show handles the death of Diamond, who died in February of lung cancer at age 44.

The family of two close friends from suburban Chicago who were killed at the Astroworld concert in Houston have filed wrongful death lawsuits against rapper Travis Scott, the Live Nation entertainment company and others.
