HAROLD MAURICE LESTER

Harold passed away peacefully on November 18, 2021 in his 95th year. Harold was predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years, Lois (nee Ball). He was the best dad to Linda (Barry) and Phyllis (Brian), the most amazing grandpa to Cody (Lyuba) and Amy (Joe) and a fun second grandpa to Russell (Ashley).

Harold worked at Kodak for over 45 years before retiring. In retirement, he enjoyed golЈng, bowling, darts and going to the monthly Legion lunches with his buds. Harold loved being at the Balsam Lake cottage. He spent the days painting, raking, and gardening and his nights playing cards with family. Harold was an avid card player and spent endless hours playing crib, bridge and euchre.

Harold was loved by everyone who knew him. He was the funniest, sweetest, most generous man. Always helping anyone who needed anything. He will be greatly missed and will forever keep his family laughing at all the great memories.

A special thanks to everyone at the Oak Ridges Retirement Residence and at the palliative care unit in MacKenzie Health Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Harold.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
