‘Drag Race’ judge hosts new series
Celebrity stylist and “Canada’s Drag Race” judge Brad Goreski hosts a new video series celebrating Canadian designers.
Beginning Friday at noon, Amazon Canada’s IGTV will feature six days of videos showcasing designers from across Canada.
They include Vancouver’s Peau de Loup, which specializes in androgynous clothing for all genders; Toronto’s Alene, which adapts fashion trends into more modest options; Montreal’s Atelier Murri, which focuses on sustainability; slow fashion brand Vestige of Vancouver; MAS Montreal, which makes clothes for every body type; and Toni Marlow of Toronto, whose fashions are for women, trans men and non-binary people who were born female.
Each label was also given a $25,000 grant by Amazon Canada to pay forward to someone in the Canadian fashion community.
