Earth will live on without us, but it’s our only home
We live on a restless planet spinning through the infinite space. The Earth moves beneath our feet as the oceans roil, continents drift and the atmosphere swirls above us. Now and then, the molten interior breaks through the outer crust to show us the power within.
Are we the architects of our own extinction? In our brief time here, we have managed to pollute and destroy the very systems that give us life.
When we are gone, the restless Earth will absorb our bodies and our buildings, and bury them deep within.
The proof of our existence, our legacy, will be a silly flag and some boot prints on the moon, some debris on a sister planet and the remnants of our vain technology orbiting the earth above.
Is it too late to change the path we have chosen?
