Céline Dion will open Vegas venue

Some of music’s biggest stars are ready to rock Las Vegas.

Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Céline Dion and Carrie Underwood will each perform short residencies at the new Sin City venue, the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, beginning this year, organizers announced Wednesday.

The 5,000-seat theatre will open Nov. 5 with a performance by Dion, which will be the first of 10 concerts at the venue for the “My Heart Will Go On” singer that month.

The country crooner Underwood will then perform six concerts there from Dec. 1 to Dec. 11. Pop superstar Perry’s eightconcert run at The Theatre kicks off Dec. 29 and runs through Jan. 15 of next year, while country star Bryan will headline six shows from Feb. 11 to Feb. 20.
